The Little Song Celebration of Daugavpils

At the end of VII Music and Art Festival “Daugavpils ReStArt 2018”, the creative groups of Dugavpils city invite to the concert „The Little Song Celebration of Daugavpils” held on October 19, 2018 at 6pm in Vienibas Nams’s Concert Hall.

The concert will take you back to the summer when XXVI Song and XVI Dance Celebration took place. You will hear and see the well known songs the dances which every one of us connects with the most vivid event of our nation. Participants of the concert: mixed choir „Daugava”, and men’s choir „Forte” (conductor Jevgenijs Ustinskovs), women’s choir „Rūta” (conductor Maruta Veličko), winds orchestra of Stanislavs Boks Daugavpils Music Secondary School (conductor Romāns Saikovskis), chamber orchestra of Stanislavs Boks Daugavpils Music Secondary School (conductor Aivars Broks), dance ensemble „Laismena” (manager Diana Soldane), children’s folk ensemble Dzismeite” (manager Lūcija Vaivode), vocal ensemble of Secondary School No. 13 “Tercites” (manager Iveta Ustinskova), ensemble of „kokle” of Spogi Music and art School “Dzirksteļeite” (manager Vija Petrova), Stanislavs Boks Daugavpils Music Secondary School ensemble of „kokle” (manager Maija Samorodova). Soloists: Sandis Ulpe, Alisa May and Viktorija Agnese Vancane.
