VI Music and Art Festival “Daugavpils ReStArt 2017”offers:

Stanislavs Broks Daugavpils Music Secondary School big band SBDMV BAND in the concert THE WHITE SUN OF THE AUTUMN

Soloists - Diana PIRAGS, Sandis ULPE, Andris SALENIEKS; participants - dance studio SIKSPARNIS, choreographer Dimitry ARESTOV; the special guest - Lauris AMANTOVS – musician, director of the big band MIRAGE; the artistic director of SBDMV BAND Romans SAIKOVSKIS.

SBDMV BAND, a new and promising group of musicians, made their debut in the V Music and Art Festival “Daugavpils ReStArt 2016”. This year the big band is going to entertain the listeners with a magnificent repertoire containing Latvian and foreign composers’ jazz compositions and with the participation of the soloists Diana PIRAGS, Sandis ULPE and Andris SALENIEKS.

A special attention one should pay to the young, charming singer Diana PIRAGS. Diana is a talented singer, an owner of a strong voice with a touch of latin charm. She also plays the flute and the piano. Diana collaborates and performs with many famous musicians and composers from Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, USA, and Latin-America. The singer has had concerts and musical projects together with the professor of Hamburg Academy of Music and Drama Dr. Christoph Schoenherr, Latvian chamber choir Fortius, groups, "Džeza brāļi", "Time after time", "Animales Ingratos" (Ukraine), Max Warshavsky (Saxofon - Germany), Tiago Loei (Brazil), Raimonds Pauls, Olga Pirags, Gunars Rozenbergs & Mirage Jazz Orhcestra, Raitis Asmanis bigband etc... Diana Pirags is a lead-singer and participant in such groups as: "Smooth band", "Gipsymania", "La Petit Paris", "Chocolad" El Coco Loco, participates in musical projects Orquestra Tropicana, Cuban Nihts, Futura Fashion and others.
